Intel 4004 Microprocessor

The 4004 was the very first (commercial) microprocessor, introduced in 1971.

The 4004 was actually implemented as a set of chips, with the cpu contained in the 4004 chip and ROM, RAM, IO etc. distributed between the 4001-4003 chips.

The individual pages here are from the 1975 Intel Data Book. These are large .gif files.

This PDF file contains more complete data sheets for all of the above, from the 1977 Intel Data Book. The scans are somewhat better, too. The file is quite large, about 17 MB.
